Lindsay’s baptism
In April, this big family event drew us across the Sierras to California. Our Lindsay had reached the age of accountability and was taking upon herself the covenant of baptism. I no longer recall why the event took place a whole month after her March 16 birthday; must have had something to do with scheduling in their Yorba Linda stake, because several other eight-year-olds made their first covenants in the same gathering.
