We were particularly delighted to meet the current proprietor, Linda Meigs, who runs the Mill as a historical and art museum. We’ve been back a couple of times since, and we make it a point to contribute annually to the cause, as official “Friends of the Mill.”

Linda believes that the exposed beam dates back to Neff days; it certainly displays the kind of adze-marks that one would expect, for structural members of that vintage.
