She did love her dentelle bretonne. I coulda sworn we were with Mammy in Quimper when these shots were taken. But Valerie, reasoning from clothes as she does so well, says these are spring images, and we never got to share a French printemps with Mammy. We have other pictures of ourselves with ajonc and bruyère and menhirs in my old stomping grounds, particularly at the alignements de Carnac, but that must’ve happened on another visit.
