Mammy & Friends |
I don’t see her in the photos of the dinner, but the aged Sister Lanier (did I ever know her given name?) was surely a guest of honor, and not just because she was a particular friend of Mammy’s. The very next month (January), Mammy’s journal would sorrowfully report her passing.
Wish I could remember the young sister missionary’s name. Can somebody help? This one was taken either before or after our winter visit, under more clement weather conditions. Apart from Mammy, I can put a name only to Elder Jeffrey Winston, Pappy’s assistant, in the middle of the group. |
