Relief Society dinner
…Another outstanding thing about Christmas, 1967, was the branch Société de Secours’s dinner for women who lived alone, for all missionaries in the Paris area, and us, the Mission President’s family.

The menu began with a patty shell filled with a cheese “Quiche Lorraine” mixture—most tasty. Then they had had roasted six big turkeys, a salad, cheese, peas & chestnuts, a dessert, and then the traditional Yule log…Terribly rich and delicious.
