Still at Lake Winnepesaukee. Rick was much taken with flowers. This was too early, I think, for him to call them “flallers,” but that would come soon, and we’d be dotingly amused. We still have Rickisms in our daily vocabulary from this era, though that wasn’t ever one of them. |
I’m leaving a bit of space on this page, to be filled, when I find it, with a shot of Rick blessing the flowers. Bowed head, laying on of hands, semiaudible muttering. Tickled us no end. |
