Journal January 25, 1963

This one’s from a later period, but it illustrates the new format. The background (the work of my companion Elder Bybee) depicts the Château de Chenonceaux; there were others). I’ve reduced this image to fit the display: the page was (metric-approximately) our customary 8-1/2 x 11’ letter-paper.

January 25—Elder Bybee and I took our turn fixing breakfast—the first time I’ve ever cooked for an apostle! We had pancakes, and nobody complained.
