September 13 (continued)—André Chaussonnier had to leave after the morning session. Elders Miller, Robins, Halliday, and I accompanied him in the casserole to the train station; then Elder Halliday and I stayed on foot to go have escargots at the Café de la [185] Mission, near the intersection of the rue Nationale and the rue Chanzy [where the elders live]. We had a long talk, because he’s received his new assignment as branch president in Périgueux, and so this is perhaps our last time together as missionaries.
