With Paul Dunn
Some Saturdays, the folks would drive to Los Angeles, to Paul Dunn’s office at USC. They’d spend the morning in Seminary management and curriculum meetings that we could sorta hear through those windows, while Brent and I enjoyed the ping-pong table and neighboring library stuff. Pappy snapped the dignitaries in their shirtsleeves, during a break.
At lunch-time, they’d issue from those doors and wait, while Brother Dunn would soundly trounce Brent, then me, at the table. Then we’d go to lunch.

It was later on, probably after I’d left the area, that Pappy caught Paul and Jeanne Dunn in elegant costume for an Institute Christmas party.
