Shirley Bogh
Bishop Shirley Bogh also had good things to say. He was there, both as the Ward’s chief executive (the bishop) and also as general contractor for the construction of the new building. Eventually (I’m fuzzy on the details of the timeline, but it was while I still lived there, ergo by 1958), he became Stake President, succeeding Wayne A Reeves, who followed President Hansen.

These squarish photos (square, until I edit ’em) originated, by the way, in my Brownie Hawkeye camera, held in my expert hands. Which should explain a lot about their superb, professional quality.
1Thanks to Rex Babb for reminding me (in an e-mail dated 27 January 2009) that President Reeves presided briefly over the San Bernardino Stake. Wayne soon became the founding president of the neighboring Rialto Stake, and Shirley Bogh replaced him.
