As the second millennium A. D. wound down, and nearing the completion of a lifetime of distinguished family history research, Alfa Jean Carter Carter 1 assembled these materials for the use of her children. She kindly permitted me to scan her finished product, and I present it here, by her permission, aiming for a minimum of distortion and commentary. Alfa died 15 December 2008, and a few significant pieces emerged in her papers; I include them here as an appendix, by her family’s permission. |
