back Mrs H Duane Anderson next
Strange to say, we don’t recall ever seeing a wedding picture of our folks. If you have one, please share it. Seems especially odd, given that we’ve always been told that Duane and Leola were both staff photographers for the Salt Lake Tribune, around the time Richard was born. You’d think they’d have seen to that detail, for sure.

These shots come from the right general time-slot. If that’s Richard’s crib in the background of each, then we can probably date them close to 1941. If not, the five years since their 1936 marriage would be fair game.
We do possess a few joint portraits, and many more of them in the company of others. Such as us, their kids.

This isn’t the last of the series; that one has its place further on in this account. We think Richard snapped this happy shot during our Christmas 1967 visit to President Grandpappy and his lady. They enjoyed accompanying us to the lovely Château de Chenonceaux.
