Benjamin Russell (1643-1691) |
Wilkins1 shows the same photo, but a bit closer up.
Benjamin grew up across the street (the Woburn Road in Cambridge Farms, later Lexington) from our 8GGParents WilliamAndMary Munroe. In 1671-2, he (then almost 30) and his brother John played a neighborly role in support of the Munroes in the Case of the Purloined Swine. The story, which I’ve documented from Middlesex County court records, deserves your close attention. 1Wilkins, Ruth Chamberlin. Carlisle, Its History and Heritage.
