’Twill be interesting to see whether any of these ancient e-mail addresses still work. The very fact that I’m unsure about that underscores the state of neglect that I do wish weren’t so, with regard to our habits of communication.

Spent the first half of this day’s labors toiling over a couple of pages of reminiscence which I propose to insert into my on-line personal history, entitled “Such A Life.” And I’d be most grateful if you’d kindly peruse them to make sure (1) I haven’t gotten anything criminally wrong, and (2) that there isn’t any of it that you’d rather didn’t go out on the Web. Not that I flatter myself that anybody’s ever going to read what I’m writing. Not even the descendants for whom I intend it. But it’s kinda public, in principle, and so you should have an opportunity to short-stop anything you’d rather keep private.
