Our Farewell Hegira

Suspecting that this autumnal cross-country hegira was likely to be our last, we set it up to include as much Temple work as possible.

Fort Collins

Leaving Chankly the morning of August 14, we stayed the night in Loveland, Colorado, and visited the Fort Collins Temple the next morning.

At Omaha on the 17th, we took old Arlington friends George and Maria Bryan to dinner and then went to the Winter Quarters Temple with them. George is in the Temple Presidency, and Maria is an Assistant Matron.
