Visit to the Ralstons
We drove back in July to visit our precious Ralstons in New Jersey. Providentially, their residence in Springfield was only about 40 miles from Ringoes, and so I drove over on the 7th to meet Cindy Knight, the Librarian of the Historical Society, with whom I’d exchanged preparatory e-mails. Made also the acquaintance of several relevant cemeteries in the neighborhood and returned to Remer Avenue all primed with a proposal. alt
alt The eleventh, you see, was our fifty-first wedding anniversary, and I could hardly imagine a more fitting celebration than a visit to Larison’s Corner Cemetery, armed with iPhones with which to capture images of relevant gravestones.

The proposal met with some enthusiasm; the weather was propitious, and so the project was on. The fruits of our venture (146 images) reside in a folder at

Some diligent descendant will do our family’s history a major service by going through these images, matching them up with the relatives in the Fisher Descendancy tree, and improving this collection with the results.
