Following are details of Heman Tilton Hyde for you:
Heman Tilton Hyde and Eunice Sawyer

Heman Tilton Hyde was born June 18, 1812, probably at Strafford, Vermont. He married Eunice Sawyer October 13, 1835, at Freedom, Cattaraugus County, New York. She was born July 25, 1813, at Mt. Pleasant Farm in Freedom.
Heman Tilton Hyde was the first one of the family to accept “Mormonism,” being baptized March 11, 1834 at Freedom, by the Prophet Joseph Smith and Elder Parley P. Pratt. Shortly after his baptism all of his father’s family were baptized members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
At the time the Hyde family came into the Church, the central gathering places of the Saints were at Kirtland, Ohio, and Jackson County, Missouri. The Saints in Jackson County were going through a period of severe persecution which finally resulted in their being driven out of the county. The Saints, exiled from their homes in Jackson County, found a temporary resting place in Clay County and some of the counties adjoining. Their leading elders were perplexed most of all as to what course to pursue, so they sent Lyman Wight and Parley P. Pratt as special messengers to represent the situation of the scattered brethren in Missouri, to the presidency of the church, in Kirtland, and ask their advice. The result was that the Prophet called together a band of brethren, known as Zion’s Camp. Heman Tilton Hyde was one of those who volunteered to go with the camp.
