The Littlest Missionaries, and their Friends

We showed off our gorgeous children and imposed on various folks to help care for them. Elder Ricky and the missionaries developed quite a mutual admiration society. The Mission Staff (here Mission Secretary Jerry Spencer) tended them a lot. When we were on the road, a local family (from South Africa) named van Tonder were also very kind.

Of course, Elder Ricky can go out with the other missionaries— but he has to wear a white shirt and tie, just like them. Thus President Grandpappy. So Mommy Valerie made sure he had this regulation white shirt and a highly suitable red bow tie. She says he’s the only three-year-old she knows who has worn out a white shirt…
