Pappy labeled the shot below “We at Chaillot.” Not sure who snapped it: that’s President Pappy’s black-suited back at right, accompanied by a pair of (I’m guessing) what we called L.M.s, back then: Lady Missionaries. Neither resembles Mammy; they’re both a bit too tall, in any case. |
