Christmas letter, 1967

I do believe that I am under divine constraint to produce this account. I seem to have squared my shoulders to the task, however, only some decades after I shoulda.

Valerie, on the other hand, got the message early; so, we have a precious series of Christmas letters from her to our loved ones, outlining a great many saliencies that I should have recorded. She let me add and edit, here and there, but the initiative was altogether hers. My humble and perpetually amazed thanks, sweetheart!

Except for my signature and Rick’s fanciful one, this missive appears entirely in Valerie’s dear handwriting.
