Oops! I take it back. Fellow grad-student and consulting client Pat Looney did send this kind thank-you note explicitly to “SACCHARINE.”

She finished her degree before I did mine and sent me a copy of this page¹ from the front matter of her thesis.

I was pleased and honored to help her out with the statistics I’d learned from Dick Light. Don’t recall what part of Harvard she came from. Probably the School of Public Health. Another minor example of the open-boundaries policy that had begotten cross-registration.
