Peut-être auront-ils encore une occasion d’accepter l’Évangile et de le suivre; j’espère que oui, car je les aime beaucoup, moi. L’elder Allen a suggéré [51] néanmoins qu’ils semblent maintenant comme ceux qui sont discutés à Matt. 13:20-21.

L’elder Allen et moi, nous sommes allés chez les Delétang ce soir pour parler avec Marcel, pendant que les elders Breillatt et Higley sont allés chez Leroy. Marcel va parvenir, j’y crois; nous nous sommes agenouillés pour prier, demandant au Seigneur un témoignage de ce que nous lui avions dit. Les autres elders rapportent que l’attitude des Leroy n’est point changé. Dommage. 12-5 Encore une discussion avec Marcel Delétang, cette fois-ci au sujet du Livre de Mormon. Il était assez impressioné, il me semblait.

Elder Allen and I went to the Delétangs’ this evening to talk with Marcel, while Elders Breillatt and Higley went to see the Leroys. Marcel’s going to make it, I believe; we knelt down to pray, asking the Lord to grant him a testimony of what we’d told him. The other elders report that the Leroys’ attitude remains unchanged. Pity. 12-5 Another discussion with Marcel Delétang, this time about the Book of Mormon. It seemed to me that he was impressed.
