Pappy on the Porch
Nothing like pawing through a pile of old photos to resurrect memories. Many of which do call out to be preserved. Some of which may even interest somebody other than the self-anointed preserver.

Here, for example, is a collection of photos of our Sixteenth Street homestead. Mostly taken for the sake of foreground subjects, but incidentally documenting details of the place and about us who were placed there.

We’ll start with another full frontal shot, above, showing how we would adorn the homestead for Christmas. Yes, we used to call it Christmas, not “the holidays.” Some of us still do…
