Eli Wheeler (1780-1853)

Uncle (5G) Eli Wheeler was Hepzibah’s and Oliver’s fourth child, their second son, and the second born to them in New Hampshire.

Even with a late start (he was 40 in 1820, when their Hannah arrived) Eli and his wife (whose name has not come down to us) had three sons and five daughters, one in every even-numbered year through 1834. All eight lived to marry.
