Martha Wilkins1 locates the
homestead of Joseph Munroe “on
site now (ca. 1941) occupied by home of Mr & Mrs C. E. Crossland, Westford St.”
Lapham2 says that by his time (1970) the spot was occupied by “the home of Mrs. Alexander Johnson on Westford Street.” |

This is 566 Westford Street, which Ruth Wilkins3 identifies as the Johnson place. If she’s right, this is the location of the original Munroe homestead in Billerica.
