In 2004, my cousin Ruth Weenig Burton, daughter of Great-Uncle Don Ralph Seely’s fourth daughter Raola Fern Seely Weenig, compiled this very impressive volume of The Seely & Fisher Ancestry. I was privileged to meet Ruth exactly once, when she came to our door in Kaysville and presented to me a copy of the book, with a caution that she wished to keep control of its distribution.

Before presuming to include it in this record, I was careful (in 2022) to make contact with Mike Burton, Ruth’s widower (and one of Pappy’s French missionaries in 1967-8), to request his permission. Which he did grant, very graciously.
